| Kids Science Challenge | The Kids Science Challenge is a free nationwide competition for third to sixth graders, made possible by the National Science Foundation.
Our website offers games, downloadable activities, videos, and curricula aligned to national standards. Kids learn about several fields of science, and are invited to submit an experiment or problem for our select group of kid-friendly scientists and engineers. The children whose entries are chosen, receive wonderful prizes and get to collaborate with the scientists to see their ideas come alive. The first thousand entrants receive free science activity kits and your home schoolers can use our activities to jump-start their own science projects at home.
On October 1, 2009, we'll launch the second year of the competition with a new group of scientists and engineers.
