HEAC stands for Home Education Advisory Council. This council was set up when the Homeschooling Law (RSA 193-A) was enacted. It consists of 6 members from the Education Community and 6 members from representative homeschool organizations like CHENH, NHHC and Catholics United for Home Education. They meet monthly on the second Tuesday of the month during the public school year.
